Hello and welcome! My name is Charlie Webb and I am a senior horticulture and entomology double major from Amarillo, Texas. I am currently studying at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
I grew up on a cattle ranch near Amarillo that was thirty-five miles from the nearest grocery store. Because of this I spent a lot of time outside and a lot of time with my family. Some of my fondest memories from my childhood include helping my mom in her flower beds or in her small garden that she had every summer. When I came to college I was unsure of what I wanted to study, but after a semester as a biochemistry major, I quickly realized that I wanted to spend my education learning about something I was excited and passionate about so I chose horticulture. Through taking entomology courses, I also discovered that I have a deep appreciation for insects and how they affect agriculture and horticulture, so I picked up a double major in entomology as well. I'm not really sure what sort of career I want to pursue, but I have a wide variety of interests and am keeping my options open to almost any opportunity that comes my way. This website is to reflect my interests and some of my coursework that I have completed over the past couple years. Feel free to look around and contact me if you have any questions! |
